We hope to have each student page host several media portals. Everyone should try to find three media outlets. One for their local news, one for national news, and one for international news. We then can set up RSSs and filter Global Climate Change events in the media once a week. For instance, this last week, the NY TImes reported that global oil consumption dropped the first time since 1983. How does that relate to our understanding about solving this global problem. The National Intelligence Assessment has been delivered to Congress and will be the subject of a hearing later this week.

Sources familiar with the report say it identifies several countries where climate change could lead to political instability and violent conflict with possible repercussions for the United States.
